What is Love?

What really is love?

Love is more than an emotion. It is a force about which writers write, and singers sing.

There are perhaps millions of books written about it, and countless studies done about, but yet it remains one of those things that is still unexplained.

There appears to be multiple definitions about it, but a lingering question is "can it be really be defined"?

It may be difficult to understand or explain why so much time and resources are spent on something that no one can really understand. Perhaps, it may actually be, because of the complexity involved, that so much is dedicated toward it.

Millions of songs are written about it, and lives are continually being changed by some complex and undefined force.

Love is uncontrollable, and no one can tell where and when it is going to appear. You may be free to choose how to react when love makes an appearance, but often the force of the emotions that results, makes all attempts at reacting ineffective.

The power of the force known as love often overwhelms everything else. It is often described by many as one of, if not the strongest force in the world.

Whatever it is, it should be expected that everyone will be affected by it in some form. It comes as a part and form of life. It can be said with a great deal of confidence, that all living things will be affected by what is known as love.

It is often difficult to describe, when you are affected by love, and it may sometimes come with recognition, but even though it may be recognized, there may still be very little that can be done to avoid being affected by it.

What is even more puzzling is that love can come in many different forms, and some studies have shown it can be good and it can also be bad, if it is dealt with improperly.

There can be some healthful benefits from being affected or expressing love. Couples who love each other appear to live longer and suffer from less disease than those who are divorced, single or widowed.

Being affected, sometimes deeply by love leads to expressing feelings about it. These feelings can also be expressed in many forms. These forms can include written or spoken words, or they may even be unspoken and reflected in the form of actions.

It may because that love is difficult to explain that thoughts and ideas and feelings are continually being expressed about it.

The subject of love is perhaps the most widely discussed subject.
