elationships are wonderful in every aspect. Whenever you are in a healthy relationship you feel good and happy. In today's world, committed relationships are very rare, but if we try to improve some things in our life, then we can certainly make our relationship much smoother. Some people are involved in a committed relationship but they are not happy and some are happy but they are not in a committed relationship. Below we are going to discuss some of the major points which should be followed properly to maintain a happy committed relationship.

1. Proper mindset - many of us think that committed relationships are very boring because you have to spend your life with a single person, but that is just a myth. There are various benefits of healthy long term relationship. You can enjoy good time with your partner if you understand him/her well enough.

2. Proper time management - when we start a relationship, we spend a lot of time in the starting stages and later on we just forget to spend time with our partner. This is the crucial point where relationship seems to be very boring. Always spend some quality time with your partner, it doesn't matter how much time you are spending but always make sure that you spend some quality time with your partner.

3. Change the routine - to avoid boring life you should bring some changes in your daily schedule. Go for a vacation with your partner; spend some quality time while having a candle light dinner.

4. Be friends - we always think that our partners are not our friends. With our friends, we are completely a different person, we enjoy and chat for hours and joke around with some humorous talk etc. with our partner we should do the same thing. If you are in a committed relationship then it doesn't mean that you have to be a different person in front of your partner. Be yourself, be what you are.

5. Trust and understanding - these two words are very similar and it is the basic foundation in any relationship. First, try to understand your partner; try to figure out his/her likes and dislikes. If you understand your partner well enough, then trust will obviously grow between each other.
